With a background in journalism, Brandel has worked with top organizations like Thoughtly Crew, Zebras Unite, and has freelanced for Vice and The New York Times. Maria Christopoulos Katris co-founded Built In, a company that has revolutionized recruiting and serves as a valuable resource across seven industries. Under her leadership, Built In completed a $22 million Series C round in 2019. Mary Dillon, the CEO of Ulta Beauty, transformed the company by doubling its store count and revenue, overseeing 1,100 locations, and driving an impressive $5.9 billion in annual revenue.
Julia Stasch, the president of the MacArthur Foundation, leads a $7 billion philanthropic organization with a global presence. She recently launched Benefit Chicago, an impact-investing loan program for socially-minded businesses. Gerri Kahnweiler founded InvestHER, a women-focused venture capital firm that addresses the gender gap in funding. Lastly, Kristi Zuhlke is the founder of KnowledgeHound, a platform that helps companies store, search, and visualize customer research, earning the company the nickname “Google of Market Research.”
